ORACARE Mouth Rinse

At Pentino Dental, we stock ORACARE Mouth Rinse that utilizes activated Chlorine Dioxide & Xylitol, which are proven to combat bacteria, virus, fungi, biofilm, and VCS. Prescription Strength Toothpaste

For some patients, we recommend a prescription strength toothpaste. This toothpaste has more fluoride and other protective minerals than your traditional toothpaste. It can help prevent and in some cases reverse the cavity progression on a tooth. By using this type of toothpaste along with an increase in hygiene and a balanced diet, we hope to prevent new cavities from developing instead of only relying on the placement of fillings to protect your teeth.

We’d typically suggest this for patients:

• With a high cavity or decay rate.
• With numerous fillings.
• As an early cavity intervention.
• As a preventative treatment for patients with braces.
• With severe dry mouth.
• Undergoing chemotherapy or radiation treatments.
• With other diseases/medications/genetic conditions that may predispose them to cavities.

The prescription strength toothpastes we carry are called, MI Paste and Clinpro . MI Paste and MI Paste Plus are a unique topical tooth crème that can be applied daily. MI Paste Plus offers the same great benefits of regular MI Paste and is enhanced with fluoride. Clinpro is a prescription-strength 5000ppm fluoride toothpaste aids in caries prevention, helps strengthen enamel and helps reverse white spot lesions. Available in three flavors: Vanilla Mint, Bubble Gum and Spearmint. These toothpastes are safe for anyone that can use traditional fluoride toothpaste.
